Preschool Valentines

Shugie will be in kindergarten next year, so this was my last chance to have a big preschool Valentine’s Day party with him.

We made: heart-shaped coffee filter hearts
(just plain white coffee filters cut into heart shape, colored by the kids with markers, then I sprayed *just a little* water on them with a spray bottle and the colors ran beautifully):

Heart hats, crepe paper hearts — used foam hearts from Target, glued on contact paper the night before, then peeled off for the sticky side of the contact paper to be ‘up’ so we didn’t even have to use glue — (thank you fellow crafters, via Pinterest!):

…and there’s Shugie, above-right, in front of a little backdrop I made of gold chevron wrapping paper (just taped to the wall), a banner I had made, and props for the kids — here, Shugie has a mustache left from one of the games I made up for Aunt Leslie’s baby shower!
