Last month in Memphis, we tried Neely’s Bar-B-Que for the first time — this is the restaurant owned by Pat and Gina, who’ve been on Food Network. This location looks as though it’s the same as it’s always been. What’s more contemporary: their ‘Neely’s Barbecue Parlor‘ in the Upper East Side…just take a look at the gallery of images there. That looks nice.
The food here was average in all respects on our visit, but obviously many people love it. Of the other Neelys here in town, we’ve done Jim Neely’s Interstate, but not the newest in the family: Ken Neely’s. I think our favorite barbecue in Memphis is Central BBQ.
