One of my favorite shops — anywhere — is Grandmother’s Buttons in St. Francisville, Louisiana. We were there last in early January while they still had their lovely decorations up:

…and this became my early-anniversary present, made up of some vintage buttons and other pretty charms (including a fantastic locket): …this gets attention and compliments every time I wear it. While Grandmother’s Buttons retail shop is in Louisiana, they are carried by some other retailers — and they do e-commerce as well. Wonderful!
