Shugie’s Two. Harmony Park Safari And Huntsville Scarecrows

For Shugie’s second birthday, we took him to one of his favorite places – Harmony Park Safari in Huntsville.  The idea is that you stay in your car and drive along a route to see various animals which you can also feed with the food they provide (for an additional charge, but feeding the animals makes it so much more fun).

After that (and needing to get the car washed!) we all went to the Huntsville Botanical Garden to see the scarecrows.  I just have to say: if you’re accustomed to going to your own town’s gardens for free like we are, paying $12/adult – last year it was $10pp – takes some getting used to.  They are wonderful, though, and we had a great time.
