Guess what!? The Scottsboro Boys Museum and Cultural Center is staying in the Joyce Chapel Methodist Church. They bought it before today’s deadline!
The foundation had gotten half the money already and received the balance from an “internationally recognized foundation” (which for whatever reason, they weren’t releasing the name of). Well anyway.
Congratulations to everyone who took part one way or another in making this come about. They’re having a party at the church/museum today at 4p!
