On Sunday, we decided to stay closer to home and start decorating for Fall. We went to our favorite vendor at the farmer’s market here and got *so* many things!
Here are just a few pics of the different varieties they had:
…so we took everything home and got started. I put three of these Wee Bee pumpkins on the back of our “Go Dog Go”:
Then Av put up our porch scarecrow. Oh! I need to put some shoes on him.
I painted the face on him years & years ago – that was an idea I got from one of the very first Mary Engelbreit Home Companion magazines. His ‘hair’ is a mum!
A few people have asked for more pictures of the kudzu bottle tree – so here it is:
It’s getting a little crowded there on the porch but the lantanas are still doing so great and the orchids are so happy I hate to disturb things right now. When Winter comes I’ll re-do things.
And the front door’s wreath is this one that I got a while back from Calyx & Corolla – it’s full of dried wheat, leaves, eucalyptus, etc:
I’ve gotten to where I don’t decorate so much for Halloween anymore – just a few things, although I am working on a Halloween paper banner right now…
