Metal Art and Azaleas

A couple of weeks ago, something I ordered from the artist William Colburn (William F. Colburn, Jr.) in Fairhope arrived – a tulip that he made – and it looks so great now with the azaleas that are in full bloom:

Besides tulips, he makes other metal flowers as garden sculptures and even furniture.

I’m so thankful to see the azaleas taking off like this, especially after the drought we had last year – I was hoping that it wouldn’t affect them too much and they look soooo good and healthy (plus we’ve gotten a good amount of rain lately!):
