A few years ago, I walked into Williams-Sonoma and was lucky enough to get their exclusive Wedgwood Thanksgiving platter at a really good price after the holiday:
This past year, they had a WS exclusive pattern with Spode:
…and look at how pretty it is! I can’t wait to use this next year!
I’ve never found a Chanukah-themed china pattern from any of the higher-end manufacturers (if you know of one, please email me!). For people who celebrate Christmas, though, there are so many pretty patterns – Spode has that beautiful Christmas Tree Grove pattern and Wedgwood has the Johnson Brothers pattern, Victorian Christmas. Noritake makes Palace Christmas, and the casual dinnerwear from Gail Pittman includes Yuletide.
My friend Sandy has been doing a series of posts on her blog about all of her different Christmas china. Wouldn’t it be fun to just mix and match all of those for a party?!
