One of my favorite stores in Huntsville has to be the Harrison Brothers store downtown on the Square. The store was founded in 1879 and came to this location on the Square in 1891. It’s now owned by the Historic Huntsville Foundation.
They have displays of store records, and the shelves are lined with all kinds of things – from hardware items to marbles to dolls and quilts…and more:
I bought a couple of really pretty wheat sheafs there for a little less than $18/each that will be perfect for Thanksgiving. They’re just like the ones at Calyx & Corolla that I’ve been looking at (but didn’t want to spend $99/ea for) except for the tie (which I would want to customize anyway)!
